Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bbrok WhatsApp booking and clinic-management service ("Service") operated by Velswift ("we", "us", "Bbrok"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Bbrok provides a WhatsApp booking and clinic-management platform for clinics in India: patients schedule appointments with a participating clinic over WhatsApp, and the clinic runs its day-to-day operations from a web dashboard. The Service includes a doctor-facing web dashboard at bbrok.in and a backend that processes WhatsApp messages via Meta's official Cloud API. Bookings run on a WhatsApp number operated by Velswift, shown to patients as “Bbrok Appointments”. The WhatsApp Business Account and the number are ours, not the clinic's; a clinic does not connect, own, or port a number, and acquires no right to the number it is allotted. One number serves several clinics, which are distinguished by a short clinic code printed on the clinic's poster and encoded in its QR code. We may move a clinic to a different number of ours where we need to. The dashboard also provides optional patient-record tools — a clinic may record consultation details (such as diagnosis, vitals, prescribed medicines and advice) against a visit, print a prescription, and record what it charged for the visit and print the patient a receipt. These records are dashboard-only and are never sent to patients over WhatsApp. As part of a booking, the Service also sends patients booking-related WhatsApp messages such as confirmations, appointment reminders before a visit, and cancellation notices. These are delivered subject to WhatsApp's own messaging rules, which do not permit a message to be sent in every circumstance, so no individual message is guaranteed. Patients can opt out at any time by sending STOP. A clinic may run more than one doctor on a single subscription, each with their own login and booking queue.

2. Who can use the Service

  • Patients: any individual aged 18 or older with a working WhatsApp account in India. Bookings on behalf of minors must be made by their parent or legal guardian.
  • Clinics: licensed healthcare providers or their authorised staff, holding a valid registration from the relevant Indian medical authority.

3. Patient use

  • You must provide accurate information when booking. Knowingly providing false details is prohibited.
  • You may book, reschedule, or cancel appointments through the WhatsApp flow at no cost from Bbrok. The clinic's own fees apply for the consultation itself.
  • You may opt out at any time by sending STOP. We will stop messaging immediately.
  • You agree not to use the Service to send abusive, threatening, illegal, or harassing content.

4. Clinic use

  • Each clinic is independently responsible for the practice of medicine and the accuracy of services advertised.
  • Clinic dashboard credentials must be kept confidential. Sharing credentials voids any liability claim against us.
  • Multiple doctor logins: a clinic may add additional doctors under its single account, each with their own login. The clinic (through its owner login) is responsible for all activity under those logins, for keeping each doctor's credentials confidential, and for removing a doctor's access when they leave. One subscription covers the whole clinic regardless of the number of doctors.
  • Your clinic code and poster: patients reach your clinic by scanning the QR code on the poster we generate for you, or by sending your clinic code. Displaying it where patients can see it is what makes the Service work. The code identifies your clinic on a shared number and is not transferable.
  • Clinics must comply with the DPDP Act, the Clinical Establishments Act, the Indian Medical Council regulations, and all other applicable laws.
  • Patient records: any consultation details, prescriptions, or notes a clinic enters are the clinic's own clinical records. The clinic is solely responsible for their accuracy, for prescribing appropriately, for obtaining any patient consent required for such sensitive health data, and for meeting its medical record-keeping obligations. Bbrok stores these records on the clinic's behalf and does not review, verify, or provide medical advice. Medicine-name suggestions in the dashboard are a typing aid only and are not a recommendation to prescribe.
  • Patient charges and receipts: where a clinic records what it charged for a visit and prints a receipt, that receipt is the clinic's own document, issued by the clinic to its patient. Bbrok does not take, hold, or process any patient payment, and the receipt is not a GST tax invoice issued by Velswift. The clinic is solely responsible for the amounts it records, for issuing whatever document its own tax and professional obligations require, and for its own tax compliance.
  • For patient data, the clinic and Velswift each act as independent Data Fiduciaries under the DPDP Act: we process patient data to run the booking service, and the clinic processes it to deliver care. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy. A separate Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and outages caused by Meta, MongoDB Atlas, or other infrastructure providers are outside our control. We are not liable for missed appointments resulting from such outages; clinics are advised to maintain a secondary booking channel.

6. Fees and payment (clinics only)

  • Free trial: new clinics get a free trial period, stated at signup. No payment details are required to start it.
  • Subscription: after the trial, the Service is billed as a recurring monthly subscription. The current price is shown before you subscribe and on your Billing page. Prices are inclusive of GST at the applicable rate, and a GST tax invoice is available in the dashboard after each payment. This is the invoice Velswift issues to the clinic for the subscription, and is separate from any receipt the clinic issues to its own patients (see section 4).
  • No setup fee. There is no one-time or onboarding charge.
  • Collection: payments are collected by Razorpay, typically by UPI AutoPay mandate. We do not see or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials.
  • Price changes: we may change the subscription price with at least 30 days' notice by email. You may cancel before the change takes effect.
  • Patients are never charged by Bbrok for any messaging or booking.

7. Cancellation and refunds (clinics only)

  • Cancel anytime from the Billing page in your dashboard. No notice period, no cancellation fee.
  • What happens next: we stop all future debits immediately, and the Service keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, new bookings pause automatically and your clinic code stops routing to you, so any poster still on display will no longer take bookings.
  • Refunds: subscription fees are non-refundable for the remainder of a paid month, since you keep full access for that period. We do not pro-rate part-months.
  • Exception: if you were charged in error, or the Service was unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, contact us and we will refund the affected period. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–7 working days.
  • During the free trial nothing is charged, so cancelling costs you nothing.
  • Your data: cancelling does not immediately delete your clinic's data. Email us if you want it erased — see the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Bbrok name, dashboard, and software are the property of Velswift. Clinics receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for the duration of their subscription. Patient message content remains the property of the patient.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to any clinic or patient is limited to the fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, missed appointments, or medical outcomes.

Bbrok is a software service; it does not provide medical advice. The Service is not a substitute for emergency care. In a medical emergency, contact the nearest hospital or dial 112.

10. Termination

  • Patients: you may stop using the Service at any time by sending STOP on WhatsApp.
  • Clinics: you may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page — see section 7. No notice period is required.
  • We may pause or close any account that violates these Terms, abuses the Service, or harms other users. Where we do so for non-payment, the pause lifts automatically once payment succeeds.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to clinics via email. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance.
